Booking

The hiring contract  is between the hirer and the owners of the cottage, Mim & Peter Fallon. Any booking  incorporates the conditions set out below:-

1. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rent due for the letting must be paid at the time of making the booking.

2. The balance of rental due must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the start of the letting period. If the commencement date of the letting is less than 4 weeks from the booking date, then the full amount becomes due.

3. All cheques  should be made payable to “Mims Holidaylets”.

4. The period of letting runs from 4.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure.

5. Prices are fully inclusive of heating and lighting.

6. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in the cottage, must be kept under strict control and are not allowed on the chairs or beds. Please bring your own dog bedding. If the Hirer wishes to bring other pets, this must be agreed with the owners before booking. 

7. If the Hirer cannot take up a booking, the owners will try to fill the vacancy,  without prejudice to their rights to the full rent if remaining vacant. Hirers are  advised to take up private insurance cover for this contingency.

8. Should the cottage be unavailable on the day stated, all monies will be refunded, but no further liability shall fall upon the owners. In no event shall the liability of the owners exceed the rental paid for the period of letting.

9. The owners accept no liability to the Hirer or other guests  for any personal injury, loss or damage to property, nor for the loss or theft of property or money.

10. The Hirer agrees to pay for any breakages, losses or damage to the cottage and to settle before departure.

11. The Hirer agrees to take good care of the cottage and leave it in the clean & tidy condition that they find it, especially the kitchen.

12. The Hirer must allow the owners reasonable access to the cottage to carry out any urgent maintenance.

13. Additional overnight guests are not allowed except with the prior consent of the owners.
